Profile

Dr. Stacey G.H. Yap is a professor of sociology and coordinator of the Master of Education in heritage studies program. She was formerly a research director for S.E. Asia Co. Ltd., a marketing research company in Singapore, and a faculty member of the Marketing Institute of Singapore. Dr. Yap has completed extensive research on the roles of Asian-American women in the United States, as well as other topics in history and sociology.

  • Historical preservation and preservation movements in community; community activism and community institutions, Asian-Americans and Asian-American women.
