Garcia graduated in Foreign Languages in 1997 from the University of Antioquia in Colombia and received his MEd for teacher certification in Spanish at Plymouth State in 2007. He is currently pursing a CAGS degree in Administrative Leadership, Curriculum, and Assessment at PSU. He teaches Continuing Spanish, Spanish for Criminal Justice, and Hispanic Culture in the U.S. and Spanish advance courses at the undergraduate level. PublicationsHis short story "Huesitos" was published in Hispanic Culture Review (George Mason University, Spring 2002). Associations, Boards and CommitteesMr. Garcia serves in the the General Education Committee, the President's Commission on Diversity, and as advisor for the World Language Society at PSU. He is also member of of the New Hampshire Association of World Language Teachers, The American Association of Teachers of Portuguese and Spanish, and The Modern Languages Association.
