Profile
James Whiting has two decades of experience in TESOL as a teacher and teacher trainer. He has trained teachers and taught English to non-native speakers in New York City, Vermont, Spain, Russia, Quebec, and Panama. Whiting was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Panama in Panama City, Panama, where his work focused on enhancing English language teaching practices for K-12 teachers. In addition, he was a Senior Fellow in the Office of English Language Programs at the US State Department, responsible for improving English language teacher training in northwest Russia.
