Profile

Lynda True-Carter is a nationally certified school counselor and registered play therapist.
She received her bachelor’s degree and graduate diploma from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. Lynda obtained her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Goddard College in Vermont.

Her professional career began as the Program Director of a residential facility for adjudicated youth. After four years in the private sector, she transitioned to the public school setting, counseling K-12 students.

After several years, she eventually focused her efforts on the elementary level. Lynda is currently the Guidance Counselor at Edward Fenn Elementary School in Gorham, NH. She is responsible for delivering a comprehensive guidance curriculum to all students, conducting individual & group counseling sessions, and co-facilitating social skills groups. Lynda enjoys incorporating “play” in all facets of her career.
