Dan Perkins serves as director of choral activities at Plymouth State University. Under his direction, the PSU Chamber Singers have traveled throughout the United States, Canada, South Africa, England, and Italy, receiving high praise. Perkins is also a co-founder, with Trish Lindberg, of the award-winning Educational Theatre Collaborative.
Perkins studied as a Fulbright scholar in Helsinki, Finland. While there, he worked as the associate conductor of the Finnish Chamber Choir and Associate Conductor of the Savonlinna Opera Festival Chorus. He is the music director of the Manchester Choral Society and the music director of the New Hampshire Master Chorale, a newly established regional chamber choir. He also conducted the New Hampshire Friendship Chorus on its tours to Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Brazil. Currently, Perkins is the principal guest conductor of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet in Hanoi.
