Profile
Rick St. Hilaire is a private attorney whose practice emphasizes cultural property, museum, and art law. He served as a prosecutor for 15 years, including Grafton County Attorney, the chief prosecutor and senior law enforcement authority in northwestern New Hampshire. In addition to extensive trial and criminal investigations experience, St. Hilaire works with colleagues in the international legal community to investigate and publicize crimes against culture and art. He is also an avocational Egyptologist who has studied ancient Egyptian art, architecture, and language at the Massachusetts College of Art and University College London.
St. Hilaire’s written work has appeared in journals such as the Art and Cultural Heritage Law Newsletter and Strategies for Saving our Cultural Heritage.
