The 2011-12 Community Cinema Series continues on February 21 with the showing of More Than a Month at Red River Theatres in Concord.

The College of Graduate Studies and New Hampshire Public Television have again partnered to present the Community Cinema program, which provides free screenings of Emmy-award winning documentaries on a range of topics. The movies will be shown once a month at 6 p.m. at a new venue, thanks to new co-sponsor, the Red River Theatres at 11 S. Main Street in Concord. A discussion of the topics raised will follow each movie.

The films scheduled to be shown this fall are:

The life of Daisy Bates tells the story of her life and public support of nine black students to attend the all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas, which culminated in a constitutional crisis–pitting a president against a governor and a community against itself.
