Plymouth State University’s College of Graduate Studies has joined forces with Keene State College, making it easier for KSC graduate education students to continue their post-master’s studies at PSU. The agreement, which took effect in January 2013, enables graduate education students at Keene State to transfer up to 15 post-master’s graduate credits to PSU where they may pursue a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS). Keene State College does not presently offer a CAGS program.
Plymouth offers a variety of post-master’s CAGS programs, including those in:
- Educational Leadership with concentrations in Administration and Curriculum Assessment; Arts, Leadership and Learning; Curriculum Administrator K-12; Neurodevelopmental Approach to Teaching; Reading and Writing Specialist K-12; School Principal K-12; Special Education Administration K-12; and Superintendent of Schools K-12.
- Higher Education with concentrations in Administrative Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction.
- Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- School Psychology-beginning in the fall of 2013, this concentration in the CAGS in Educational Leadership will become a CAGS in School Psychology.
Many students pursue a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) as a stepping stone to completing a doctoral program. PSU also offers a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Learning, Leadership and Community.
