Although efforts have been made since the 1999 report to improve this situation, primarily through policy and legislation, the need for new information and education is still critical. PSU's MBA program with a focus in Health Care Administration is meeting this need.

Designed specifically for healthcare professionals, the MBA and Health Care Administration courses are offered online and are taught by leaders in the field. Constance A. Morrison, an attorney who also holds a doctorate in Nursing Practice, an MBA, and is a nurse practitioner and program faculty said, "It is critical that all healthcare professionals have an intimate knowledge of the law as it relates to their profession. In this day and age I can't imagine working in this industry without it."
