Through a program developed by AMNH and Plymouth State University, students can earn 4 graduate level credits in science for courses they complete in conjunction with AMNH Seminars on Science courses. Visit the AMNH Web site for information on current courses and schedules.

Graduate credit instructions

  1. Register and pay for a Seminars on Science course at the AMNH Web site
  2. Successful completion of a Seminars on Science course is based upon your AMNH instructor's evaluation of your work. Only work that meets or exceeds expectations outlined in the course's evaluation rubric will be considered for graduate credit
  3. Print the PSU Registration form (PDF 54 kb) and return it to the College of Graduate Studies with your full tuition payment along with:
    • A copy of your Seminars on Science course evaluation (sent to you by your AMNH course instructor)
    • A copy of your Seminars on Science final project
    • A 2-3 page narrative about your online course experience that describes the instruction you received and its effect on your teaching and learning. Include a section on how you plan to apply your final course project, or write an additional 2-page narrative on this topic
  4. Once you have sent in your paperwork, PSU will assign you a faculty member who will evaluate the work you completed during your AMNH Seminars on Science experience
  5. Mail graduate paperwork to:
