Christa McAuliffe Planetarium

Teacher workshops meet at the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium on the second Wednesday of the month from 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. They are designed to help educators become "Highly Qualified" in the areas of astronomy, space, and earth science to meet the "No Child Left Behind" standards.

The workshop costs $75.00. One graduate credit is available for an additional $55. In addition to the workshop, educators seeking graduate credit need to complete a workshop-related project outside of class time. Lunch is included with the workshops. Instructional activities that can be used in the classroom will also be shared.
