Counseling and Human Relations Center

The Counseling and Human Relations Center is staffed by professional counselors, psychologists, and social workers. Free, confidential services are offered to all PSU students. The goal of these services is to help you with life issues such as stress, grief, depression, self-esteem, drugs, or alcohol. Call (603) 535-2461 to schedule an appointment.

Counseling Center’s Summer Hours
  • May 18-June 11 – Open for appointments from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • June 12-30 – Closed
  • July 1, 8, 15, 22 – Open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • July 2, 7, 14, 21 – Open 9:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • July 23-August 17 – Closed

If you need to speak to a counselor, please call 603-535-2461 and leave a message and someone will get back to you when the center re-opens.  Email is not monitored.

If you have an emergency which requires immediate assistance during the times that the center is closed, you may call Genesis Behavioral Health at 603-524-1100 if you are in emotional crisis, or you may call University Police at 603-535-2330 for an on-campus emergency or you may dial 911 for an off-campus emergency or, if appropriate, you may call the Speare Hospital Emergency Room at 603-536-1120 or go directly there for a medical emergency.
