What attracted you to Plymouth State’s graduate program? The Athletic Training, Entry-Level program

Where are you now employed? Saint Mary’s College of California

How are you implementing knowledge gained during your program? Plymouth State University’s Entry-Level Athletic Training program allowed me to work independently and made me feel confident to trust in my own skills and become an athletic trainer. I now feel confident in any injury that comes my way–knowing how to treat and rehab an injury back to health. The core rehabilitation I learned has been very beneficial with every injury I come across. I was able to work with a variety of sports and settings to help me know what to expect and determine what areas I enjoyed working in. The classes always kept me on my toes and striving to do better.

What would you say to a student who is considering graduate school? Plymouth State’s faculty and staff have the knowledge and capability to help you achieve your goals of becoming an athletic trainer if you apply yourself to attain that goal. They have the capability to answer any question and will put you in situations that will allow you to feel confident about working on your own.
