STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE Health insurance for students is not available for purchase through Plymouth State University. A new law in NH allows students to remain on their parents’ insurance policy up to age 26. Students with a primary residence outside of NH should check with their insurance company/or agent. Students who are unable to secure coverage through their parents or place of employment and desire to purchase health insurance may contact the Financial Aid Office to discuss accessing additional student loans to cover health insurance premiums. Documentation will be needed from the insurance carrier so that the Cost of Attendance budget may be increased. Multiple web sites may be accessed to obtain quotes for coverage.
