About Dr. Rosene 

Dr. Rosene's fields of expertise include exercise physiology and athletic training. He is a certified athletic trainer and received his doctoral degree from Springfield College in exercise physiology.

Dr. Rosene has held faculty positions in athletic training at William Woods University, the University of Southern Maine and, most recently, the University of Hawaii. He has extensive experience in athletic training, strength and conditioning, and overall performance enhancement. He has worked with a variety of athletic populations including serving as the strength and conditioning coach for the AHL's Portland Pirates as well as collegiate athletes at the Division I, II and III levels.

Dr. Rosene came to Plymouth State University in 2003. He is currently expanding the Exercise Physiology program and Human Performance Laboratory. His research interests include creatine supplementation, injury mechanisms/rehabilitation and overall performance enhancement. Dr. Rosene is also a member of the graduate faculty as well as serving as head athletic trainer for PSU football.
