Are you trained in social-scientific approaches to communication study? Want to be part of a growing department composed of faculty members who truly enjoy working together? The Department of Communication and Media Studies at Plymouth State University (PSU) is seeking a dynamic faculty colleague who is an outstanding teacher and promising scholar beginning in August 2008.
Primary responsibilities will include teaching our lower-division Introduction to Communication course and our upper-division Communication Research Methods (combining qualitative and quantitative approaches), Communication Theory, and Media Effects (from the social-scientific perspective) courses. In addition, the ability to teach one (or both) of the following courses is a plus: Introduction to Media and Cultural Studies and/or Global Perspectives in the Media.
