New Student Orientation

Welcome to Plymouth State University. Making a successful transition into a university community is a challenge. New expectations, a new environment, and new people make the first few weeks exciting and sometimes confusing. The new student orientation program at Plymouth State University is designed to help you and your family learn more about these expectations and explorations. If you have any questions, please contact: Debbie Cole, Program Support Assistant, or Terri Potter, Director of the Hartman Union Building at (800) 842-6900 (option 2) Monday through Friday, between 8:30am and Noon OR 1:00pm and 4:00pm.

Session E – Sunday, August 31st through Tuesday, September 2nd

PAY ATTENTION HERE, NEW STUDENTS! MAKE SURE YOU READ AND FOLLOW THE SCHEDULE THAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU. Here’s the key to your success…

The Session E Schedule…is for those students who did not attend a June Orientation session

The Fall Opening Schedule…is for students who attended a June Orientation session (A, B, C, D or T)

Session E students:  We will automatically place you in this session – no registration is required. Session E begins on Sunday, August 31st, which is also your move-in day, and goes through Tuesday, September 2nd. Your first full day of classes is scheduled for Wednesday, September 3rd.  Classes you say? You will have plenty of time to register before your first full day of classes, and you will have help from the faculty and staff.

Fall Opening Students:   Please click on the June Orientation Participants and Fall Opening Schedule buttons.  You do NOT need to follow the Session E schedule unless you did not register for classes in June.

p.s. Information regarding Session E and Fall Opening is being emailed to students’ Plymouth email account on Wednesday, August 13.  If you haven’t been checking your Plymouth email account, get on it!  :)
