Amanda Rodriguez
Hometown:
Nashua, NH
Major:
Marketing with a minor in Media Studies
Graduation Year:
2010
Why I chose PSU:
I thought PSU had a great campus, it wasn’t too far from home, and I’m in-state so it wasn’t too expensive.
My life at PSU:
Classes, hanging out with friends, spending time with my boyfriend, taking naps, working, AMA.
What I do in Plymouth and at PSU:
Well I don’t ski/snowboard and hike like mostly everyone else who goes here, but I still have fun.
Your favorite PSU experience:
I don’t think I can narrow it down to just one, and I still have another year to go.
Which organizations do you belong to?
American Marketing Association – VP of Human Resources
What activities have been most valuable to you?
AMA and being a BM this coming year I’m sure will also be very valuable.
In what ways does PSU foster involvement and the ability for you to build community?
PSU fosters involvement in many ways. They offer tons of clubs and organizations for students to join and it’s a great way to get involved with the campus and to meet other students and staff members in the PSU community.
On-campus or off? Why?
I live off-campus. It costs the same as living on-campus, if not a little cheaper and you get your own room, a living room, bathroom, and kitchen. You’re living with your friends in an apartment – it’s just a lot better.
Do you do any community service through the CSC or outdoor trips through the Outdoor Center?
No
Do you visit the Fitness Center or do any Group Ex classes?
No, but I’d like to – I probably will this year.
