Plagiarism
At Plymouth State University, all students are personally responsible for educating themselves about plagiarism. Plagiarism means to use another person’s words or ideas as your own. Cite the sources you use because there are academic consequences for knowingly or unknowingly committing plagiarism.
Visit Lamson Library and Learning Commons online to review the style guides for how to cite sources. For international students there may also be immigration status consequences in addition to the academic ones.
The PSU Student Handbook contains University policies related to plagiarism. Make yourself familiar with them!
