We are excited that you will be attending a conference, festival or seminar at Plymouth State University. Many guests of Plymouth State bring their computers along so that they can communicate with friends and family. The first step in making sure you can use our network successfully is to update your computer. Before you come to campus, please be sure to check your computer for the following:
PSU guests attending a conference may request access to GuestNet, Plymouth State University’s wireless network for conferences. Your conference sponsor may provide you with information on obtaining an ID and password to use with GuestNet. Please complete the GuestNet account request form. Be sure to allow 7 - 10 days for processing.
Unless other arrangements are made by the conference sponsor, all GuestNet usernames and passwords must be picked up in person and a photo ID presented at the Information Desk in the Lamson Learning Commons. For security reasons it is not possible for us to email this information. Be sure to check for our current hours.
Lamson Library is pleased to offer guests and alumni of PSU access to our Library. While many of the library’s resources are only available to current students and staff, such as the electronic databases (due to licensing restrictions), many other resources are available both in print and online, free of charge. In addition, PSU alumni, and NH residents may purchase a Community Borrower card in order to checkout materials from the library’s collection. Some limits may apply to special categories of materials, such as educational curriculum, children’s literature and special collections.
There are four public access computers with internet access for PSU alumni and visitors to use at the Learning Commons at Lamson Library. Additionally, there are coin operated copy machines available to all users.
PSU guest accounts are all accountable to the network policies. They can be found at http://www.plymouth.edu/infotech/policy/
