Distinguished Graduate Teaching Awards MBA: William “Bill” Benoit

October, 2006

Bill Benoit has been a professor of business at Plymouth for 25 years and has served as business department chair and as director of the MBA program. He was instrumental in achieving professional accreditation from the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for all undergraduate and graduate business programs at Plymouth State.

“I am still very excited about teaching and learning with my students,” said Benoit. “I believe in the ‘teacher as coach’ model, and bring that conviction to the graduate program. … I would not trade this experience at PSU for anything.”

Maslakowski said, “Bill’s varied life experiences in business and the military contribute greatly to the expansion of knowledge of his students. Bill makes a difficult course interesting by sharing his life experiences, which makes the course material relevant to learners.”
