About Mardie Burckes-Miller:

Mardie Burckes-Miller has been a professor of health education at Plymouth State University since 1987. She is coordinator of the graduate Eating Disorders Institute and teaches courses in health education and promotion at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Burckes-Miller is active in eating disorder prevention and awareness in the Plymouth community. She is a frequent contributor to The Journal of Health Education, The Wellness Newsletter, and the Association of Worksite Health Promotion Newsletter and has presented at several national and regional conferences.
