Math Department Faculty

Barbara Boschmans is an associate professor of mathematics education who joined the department in 2003. She teaches mathematics education courses for pre-service elementary and middle school teachers, mathematics courses and graduate mathematics education courses. Dr. Boschmans is an associate for the NH-Impact Center and works with the Center to provide professional development across the state. She is interested in integrating technology into the elementary classroom; the mathematical knowledge elementary teachers need to be successful teachers; and what professional development works best for in-service teachers. Dr. Boschmans has presented at several state, regional, and national conferences and is a board member of the New Hampshire Teachers of Mathematics.
