Welcome to the Medieval and Renaissance Forum.

Originally conceived as a smaller, more intimate alternative to The International Congress on Medieval Studies held each year at Western Michigan University ("Kalamazoo"), Plymouth State University’s Forum is the oldest conference of its type in New England. Scholars return to the White Mountain region year after year for intellectual refreshment, collegial disagreement, and of course, the Medieval Feast. Whether you’re a first-timer or a venerable Friend of the Forum, we welcome you into our academic community!
