Medieval and Renaissance Forum
The twenty-ninth annual Medieval and Renaissance Forum at Plymouth State University will convene on April 25-26, 2008.
Forum 29's theme is "The Secular Realm in the Age of Faith"
This year’s theme relates to the private and public spheres of life in the Middle Ages and Early Modern Europe where the profane, the quotidian, romantic, and religious intersect. Papers need not be confined to the theme, but may cover many aspects of Medieval and Renaissance life, literature, languages, art, history and music.
This year’s keynote is Dr. Frédéric Billiet, Professeur à l’Université and Director de l’UFR de Musique et Musicologie de Paris IV-Sorbonne.
