
Prospective majors are asked both to apply to the Office of Admissions and to contact the Chair of the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance to arrange for an audition/interview::
Those planning to enroll in any degree program (major, interdisciplinary major or minor) in music, theatre or dance are required to arrange for an audition/interview. Prospective students must contact the Department for an audition/interview by April 1, 2008 in order t
o be guaranteed an opportunity for Departmental admission during the 2008-2009 academic year!
Audition/interview dates for Fall 2008 admission to the Department are scheduled for:

Note: Live auditions for admission to any music degree with voice as primary performance medium, or to the B.A. in Theatre Arts/Music Theatre Performance option, will be heard only on the dates stated above. Auditions/interviews for all other candidates can be arranged at other times throughout the academic year.
All incoming first-year students in Music, Theatre and Dance will be considered for a limited number of Talent Grants to qualified first-year students in the performing arts. These awards, ranging in amount from $500 to $3000, are divided in two and credited toward fall and spring semesters, and are renewable annually.
