lymouth State University's Silver Center for the Arts houses the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance and is the "home away from home" for all the department's students and faculty. In addition to attending classes in Silver, students spend many hours in the building rehearsing and preparing for public performances.

Practice rooms are located in Silver Cultural Arts Center on the third level. Available hours for use are the same as the above building hours. Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted in the practice rooms. Violations may result in the loss of practice privileges.
Requests for the use of classrooms and performance space should be submitted to the Music, Theatre, and Dance office no later than four weeks in advance of the date needed.
All recital date requests must be made through the appropriate Performance Studies instructor. This request will be addressed through the current scheduling process. Time must also be reserved for rehearsals and set-up.
