Lauren Plummer, Former Student Worker

Lauren Plummer was the Museum of the White Mountains’ first ever student worker.  She was with the museum during the 2010/2011 school year, when she graduated from Plymouth State University with her degree in Adventure Education.  During her time with the Museum, Lauren digitized more than 2,000 items in the permanent collection, assisted in the installation and break-down of the Museum’s first exhibition, As Time Passes Over the Land, and helped launch the Museum’s first digital database.  Lauren is an avid hiker and outdoor enthusiast, having spent several summers working for the Appalachian Mountain Club and winters working at various ski resorts.  Currently, Lauren is putting to use her Adventure Education degree in New Hampshire’s North Country.
