What time do I have to be there?

Arrival/check-in is between 8:00am – 10:00am.  It is a full day and we advise you to be on time.

Do I have to take the Math Placement?

This is required for students who wish to enroll in Calculus or for students majoring in: Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and Meteorology. This placement helps in determining what math class you should take.

The Math Placement is available online and MUST be taken prior to new student orientation.  Here is the link for the Math Placement: http://www.plymouth.edu/webapp/courses/course/view.php?id=11244

Can I attend one of the two-day Orientation Programs?

Absolutely!  Generally, the two-day sessions are of greatest benefit to entering first year students who have no prior experience in a university setting.  However, if you have interest in attending one of our two-day sessions, please call 1-800-842-6900 and we can discuss with you whether the one-day or a two-day session will best suit your particular needs.

The two-day sessions in June are:

June 2 & 3, 2013 – Sunday & Monday
June 9 & 10, 2013 – Sunday & Monday
June 12 & 13, 2013 – Wednesday & Thursday
June 16 & 17, 2013 – Sunday & Monday – Not available to reserve until May 20th

Can I make my reservation via telephone?

Unfortunately, we do not make reservations via telephone.

All students must fill out their RESERVATION form via the web site which is on myPlymouth.  This information was sent to your personal and new campus email address from the New Student Orientation Office.  Remember, students new to Plymouth MUST attend new student or transfer orientation in order to enroll as a student at Plymouth State University.
