All new students are required to take the Math Placement Assessment.
Transfer students must take the Math Placement Assessment if:
- they do not transfer in any mathematics course, or
- they need to take calculus as part of their PSU major (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Meteorology)The Math Placement Assessment is available online and MUST be taken prior to new student orientation.

Absolutely! Generally, the two-day sessions are of greatest benefit to entering first year students who have no prior experience in a university setting. However, if you have interest in attending one of our two-day sessions, please call 1-800-842-6900 and we can discuss with you whether the one-day or a two-day session will best suit your particular needs.
The two-day sessions in June are:
June 7 & 8, 2015 – Sunday & Monday
June 14 & 15, 2015 – Sunday & Monday
June 17 & 18, 2015 – Wednesday & Thursday
June 21 & 22, 2015 – Sunday & Monday – Not available to reserve until May 22nd

Unfortunately, we do not make reservations via telephone.
All students must fill out their RESERVATION form via the web site which is on myPlymouth. This information was sent to your personal and new campus email address from the New Student Orientation Office. Remember, students new to Plymouth MUST attend new student or transfer orientation in order to enroll as a student at Plymouth State University.
