PLYMOUTH, NH- A Plymouth State College men’s hockey player was honored by the ECAC for his contribution in two games last week.

Junior captain forward Chris Ticconi (Shaker Heights, OH) was selected to the ECAC North South Central Weekly Honor Roll for his solid play last week against New Hampshire
College and Fairfield University. Ticconi tallied a hat trick and one assist in a 9-5 non conference loss to Fairfield University. Remarkably his hat trick included a short handed goal,
power play goal and an even strength goal. In the match-up between intrastate rival New Hampshire College Ticconi scored the lone goal in a 3-1 loss.

Ticconi’s consistent play is a reflection of his leadership ability and hard work ethic. Within the last three games he has either scored or had an assist, out of the first eight
games of the season Ticconi has five goals, four assists and is second on the team in points with nine.

PANTHER NOTES: With a pair of wins by PSC over Framingham State ( Dec.10th) and Worcester State (Dec.13th) it would put the Panthers right back in the thick of things for the
ECAC North title race. Among the team leaders are sophomores Eric Ryan (N. Chelmsford, MA) with five goals and five assists, Kevin Creighton (Falmouth, MA) with three goals and
five assists, and Rich Vega (New Milford, CT) with one goal and five assists. After Plymouth travels to Framingham State and Worcester State they will conclude for the semester and
resume play on Tuesday January 13th at inter-conference rival Fitchburg State.
