Sophomore Courtney Jacques (Belmont, NH), a 5’5″ point guard, was selected to the ECAC New England Weekly Honor Roll for her solid play last week. She averaged 17.0
points, 3.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.5 steals as the Panthers split a pair of games. She scored 15 points in PSC’s 107-55 win over Rivier College, including a 4-for-4 effort from
three-point range, and followed that with a career-high 19 points in a 96-95 overtime loss to Rhode Island College.

Jacques, who is shooting 40.9 percent from three-point land, is averaging 11.3 points for the Panthers, which is second-best on the team. She is also connecting on 67.7
percent from the free throw line, which ranks sixth in the LEC.

The Panthers, 4-4 overall and 0-2 in the LEC, are idle for final exams and the holidays. They return to action with three straight road games in January, beginning Jan. 8th at
Bowdoin College (5:30 p.m.). The next home game is Jan. 15th at Foley Gymnasium against Endicott College (7:00 p.m.).

PANTHER NOTES: Junior center Becky Morse (Sterling, MA) had an up and down week for the Panthers. She scored a career-high 33 points and added 11 rebounds in the win
at Rivier, but struggled to a seven-point, five rebound effort against RIC. She still leads Plymouth State in scoring (15.3 ppg) and rebounding (11.5 rpg). She is among the top seven in
the LEC in scoring, rebounding, FG percentage (.466), FT percentage (.667) and blocked shots (1.3 bpg)…..Sophomore guard Lynn Hersey (Dexter, ME) appears among the LEC
leaders for her strong shooting ability. She is ranked fifth in 3-point FG percentage (.292) and fourth in FT percentage (.724)….Sophomore Jessica Shapiro (Windsor Locks, CT), who
is averaging 7.3 points per game, is tied for sixth in the conference in rebounding (8.4 rpg)…..Freshman Kate Fillion (Littleton, NH) equaled a season-best with 14 points, including four
three-pointers, Saturday against RIC. She is ranked third in the conference in 3-point FG percentage (.318) and tied for fifth in blocked shots (1.0 bpg).
