PSU Business Professor Robert Nadeau Honored by Plymouth Regional Chamber of Commerce

Plymouth, N.H. – Plymouth State University Business Professor Robert Nadeau was honored April 24 with the Plymouth Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2014 Chamber Champion, which is presented to a chamber member who “demonstrates extraordinary support to the chamber and its mission.” Nadeau provides a series of Brown Bag luncheon seminars for local business owners/managers throughout the year, and is a valuable partner for Chamber officials in developing student projects that support the work of the chamber and provide great educational experiences for the students. PSU President Sara Jayne Steen said Nadeau’s business expertise and insight are valuable resources both for students and the community.

“Bob speaks to business leaders and students with clarity and purpose,” Steen said. “It is wonderful to see him recognized as the excellent resource he is, both for the campus and the wider community.”

As the Director of PSU’s Professional Sales Leadership Program, Bob Nadeau teaches marketing, sales, and sales management for the College of Business Administration. Students learn the marketing framework and sales cycle, along with processes and leadership mechanisms to select, develop, and lead a sales organization. His students are being widely recognized at the national level. Bob is also a Business Consultant to organizations for new business development, and sales training.

Prior to teaching, Bob was a senior manager of a Fortune 100 corporation heading up the New England Region. As a multiple time winner of their prestigious Manager of the Year award, he demonstrated a significant track record in developing sales managers. As a trainer he is skilled at helping managers and sales professionals increase their productivity in marketing, b2b, and b2c sales.
