PSU Hosts Northeast Delta Dental Community Skating Party

It may have been a hot summer day August 30 in Holderness but there was plenty of cool fun at PSU’s Hanaway Rink as Northeast Delta Dental and Plymouth State University celebrated their partnership in support of healthy living.

Happy skaters at the Northeast Delta Dental Community Skating Party pose with mascots Pemi the Panther, Molly the Molar and Fungo. More than 75 people attended the Aug. 30 event at PSU's Hanaway Rink.

Participants enjoyed free skate rental, door prizes and giveaways as well as appearances by the organizations’ mascots — Molly the Molar, Fungo, mascot of the N.H. Fisher Cats minor league baseball team and Pemi the Panther!

John Scheinman, PSU Major Gifts Officer, noted, “This is a great event because Northeast Delta Dental and their partnership with Plymouth State shows how great organizations come together to support New Hampshire communities.”

Crystal Carroll, Northeast Delta Dental’s Community Relations Manager, agreed.

“Oral health is a critical component of overall health and Northeast Delta Dental is proud to partner with Plymouth State University and other organizations in the communities we serve in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont to promote health and wellness.”
