PSU Academic Merit Scholarships are awarded by the Office of Admission. Notification of eligibility is sent in the Admission’s Acceptance letter. Award consideration is based on several things, including: class rank, SAT scores, strength of academic programs and high school activities. No additional application is required.
Many different scholarships are available through Plymouth State University’s Advancement Office, Alumni Office, and various academic departments.
Students can perform a scholarship search using various internet scholarship search databases. Competition is often more severe for scholarships identified this way, as many are available on a regional or national level.
Private foundations, civic organizations and others are a great resource for additional scholarship monies.
