The Financial Aid Team is providing this Financial Wellness Web site to help you understand how to manage your student loans, personal finances, and how to create and maintain good credit. Here you’ll find the tools and services you need to build good financial habits now to carry into the future.

- The Freshman Forty – 40 Money Management Tips Every College Freshman Should Know Instead of gaining the infamous “freshman fifteen”, students gain financial literacy knowledge! We’ll provide 40 quick and practical everyday tips to help students learn how to take control of their money.
- Searching for Scholarships – There are thousands of national, regional and local scholarships for good grades, sports, public service, or special talents. Find out where to look and tips for applying!
- Credit Worthy – Credit for Your Future This program covers the importance of being credit worthy by discussing credit reports and credit scores. Attendees will learn how to shop for credit and how to manage credit.
- It’s Not Free Money for College – Student Loan Repayment Basics Before you put your cap and gown on and cross the stage to receive your college diploma, spend an hour and get tips on how to manage your student loan repayment. Learn the differences between federal and private loan repayment, repayment plans, deferment and forbearance options, and loan forgiveness programs.
