Preparing for graduation or leaving PSU

Network considerations for PSU Graduates
When a student ceases taking classes at the University, their computer accounts will extend for 90 days, after which it will expire.  You will also no longer be able to login to cluster computers.  Prior to then you should backup important files that are stored on your M: drive.

Make a copy of your files before your account terminates
The easiest way to make a portable copy of your files is to burn them to a CD. If you do not have a CD burner on your computer you are welcome to use the ones in the library. Be sure to bring an adequate supply of blank CDs for this purpose, if you have a lot of files.

E-Mail and myPlymouth access for Graduates
Within 30 – 45 days after graduation from PSU, your e-mail account will automatically transition to an alumni account.  This is your PSU e-mail account for life and a primary means through which the Alumni Association will keep you abreast of events and gatherings. Your access to myPlymouth will also transition from an active student role to an active alumni role.   This means that some of your tabs will go away (myCourses, library, student life, etc. ) and be replaced with special alumni tabs (Alumni Services, etc.) You will also continue to have access to myPlymouth and online resources specifically designed for PSU graduates.
