January Jamboree 2015

Moodle Gradebook Essentials!

Does Moodle Gradebook frustrate, intimidate, or just plain baffle you? Our Moodle Gradebook Essentials workshop series promises to demystify the gradebook, providing clear instruction and hands-on practice. Bring your syllabus and your questions – and by the end of the three, sequential, three-hour sessions, you will walk away with a fully configured gradebook that meets your specific grading needs. We’ll provide a comprehensive overview of gradebook functions, walk you through a step-by-step process for designing a gradebook that works for you, and answer all your questions along the way.

Because of the prep work required by us for each attendee, it is very important that you pre-register for the workshop series and if you do register, are committed to attending.

Dates: January 13, 14, and 15; 1– 4pm (each day builds on previous day)
In addition to the Gradebook Essentials workshop series, we will also be offering other hands-on, two-hour workshops the third week of January (20, 21, 22 and 23). The topics will depend on the number of people expressing interest in each. The list of options include: Moodle 101, CoursEval, The Use of Video in Moodle, Online Surveys: Qualtrics, e-Portfolio: Mahara, and Web Conferencing: Collaborate.

Please register as soon as possible as space is limited!
