Full-Time and Part-Time Police Officer Positions Available

University Police has the following vacancies:

  • Full-Time University Police Officer (1):  This is a 100% benefited position to include free tuition, provided by USNH.  The officer will attend a 14-week academy beginning in June 2012.  Upon graduation, they will receive a $3500 salary increase, and an additional incremental increase upon completion of a six-month probationary period and FTO program.  UPD part-time officers are given first preference for all full-time vacancies.
  • Parking Enforcement Officer (1) :  This is a 75% time non-benefited, fully sworn police position, and the successful applicant will attend the PSTC 200-hour part-time academy.
  • Part-Time University Police Officer (2):  This is a non-benefitted, fully sworn police position, and the successful applicant will attend the PSTC 200-hour part-time academy in August 2012.

Vehicles on Campus after Easter

Students returning from Easter Break with Unpermitted vehicles MUST obtain temporary parking permits if the vehicles are going to be in PSU lots.  Students will then only be allowed to park in lot 603.
