Part-Time Police Officer Positions Available

August 13th, 2012 by Jennifer Frank

The Plymouth State University Police Department is currently accepting applications for part-time University Police Officer.  UPD officers are fully sworn and armed officers with police appointments in the towns of Plymouth and Holderness.  UPD works closely with these two local agencies to ensure the security of our campus and to contribute to the quality of life in our two host towns.  The current vacancy is a non-benefitted position, starting rate is $15.13/hour (if previously certified by NH Police Standards & Training Council).   New hires who are un-certified will attend a 200-hour non-residential academy at the NH Police Standards and Training Council facility in Concord in early 2013.  A two-year training reimbursement agreement is required upon hire.  If you are interested in joining a close knit group of law enforcement professionals committed to serving the needs of a diverse community of students from throughout New England and around the world, distinguished faculty members, dedicated staff, visitors, and VIPs, consider joining the UPD team.  To obtain a Word fill-in Employment Application Packet, contact Chief Creig Doyle at cwdoyle@plymouth.edu or contact Mrs. Barbara Small at (603) 535-2331.  For more information about UPD, go to our website athttp://www.plymouth.edu/police.
