Plymouth State University Police Officers Colonel Doyle, Investigator Frank, Sergeant Hutchins and other law enforcement officers across the state of New Hampshire joined forces with Special Olympics athletes, coaches and volunteers to pump gas and wash windows for customers at local Irving gas and Circle K stores across the state. Over $100,000 was raised for Special Olympics through donations by customers statewide and contributions from Irving and Circle K who donated five cents for every gallon of gas pumped during the Fueling Dreams event.
“The Fueling Dreams to Serve and Protect event has grown to a level we never could have imagined,” said Mike Quinn, president, Special Olympics New Hampshire. “We couldn’t be more pleased than to have the management staff of Irving and Circle K, as well as law enforcement representatives, support this event. The generous support that we receive has an enormous impact on not only our athletes, but also their families, friends and communities.
