Professional Information

Sally Holland joined the Plymouth State University team in August 2011 after 30 years in the development and advancement professions.  Most recently, she was Senior Director of Development for Colleges and Programs at the University of Delaware, where she was responsible for major and principal gift fundraising in UD’s seven colleges. Her past positions have included Director of Development at Williams College and Vice President for College Advancement at Middlebury College. Sally began her development career at her alma mater, the University of New Hampshire, from which she holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.

“PSU is a wonderful University with a strong and vital mission, a dynamic President, dedicated faculty and administrators, and alumni, parents and other friends who respect its history and believe in its future,” Holland said. “I welcome this opportunity to further engage the University family as advocates, donors, and volunteers for PSU.”

Sally also plans to become part of the greater Plymouth community, having previously served her home towns as a board member of a hospice agency and a member of town finance, personnel, and hiring committees, as well as enjoying campus and community activities. Sally also has been professionally active, including membership in the Planned Giving Group of New England, serving on its board, and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, serving as a speaker at many conferences.
