Typography

The Plymouth State University Web site employs style sheets to deliver consistent typography across the University Web site.

Main content of pages uses the following fonts in this order: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, Sans-serif.  A true black font is not used and is not recommended for primary reading areas.  Instead hexadecimal code #333333 or #5f5f5f is recommended.

Headings use the following fonts in this order: Georgia, Times New Roman, Serif.

Em font sizing is preferred in all cases.
