Flash®

As the number of visitors with high-speed internet access to our site increases, so to does the opportunity to enhance the experience with multi-media such as Flash, video and audio.  However, poorly designed pieces can cause accessibility issues and result in less satisfaction with a visit to the PSU site.

Flash should only be used a supplemental component to any site (i.e. photo gallery, video or audio embedding, and other interactive features which offer value-add).

PSU sites must never be designed exclusively with Flash.  Navigation elements are also unacceptable uses for Flash and should not be used on PSU sites.
