Remaining in Your Current Hall

Returning students have several options for housing during the 2013 – 2014 academic year.

Current Hall Residents:

Sign up to keep your current space: Any day between March 26th March 28th, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
So you want to stay in your current room, that’s great. The process is quite simple! You and your prospective roommate(s) must each complete a traditional hall housing application (available online March 1, 2013) and bring them to the Office of Residential Life in Mary Lyon between Tuesday, March 26, 2013 and Thursday, March 28, 2013.  You may sign up to keep your current room and still participate in switching rooms within your current residence hall on April 3rd.  Simply let the Residential Life staff know of your intentions when you sign up to keep your current space.

Switch rooms within your current residence hall:*   April 3rd
So you‘d like to remain in the same hall, but choose a different room. You and your prospective roommate(s) must each complete a traditional hall housing application and bring them to HUB 119 on April 3, 2013 at the time indicated below. This portion of the process is based on the lowest ranking number in your group.  During this time you may switch into any open double or triple in your residence hall.  You must have 3 people to sign into a fully-open triple room.  If you have already chosen to keep your same room, simply come to HUB 119 at the appropriate time.  We already have your application.

Remember, even if you choose a space in your current residence hall, you are still eligible to try for a space in a different residence hall.  Be sure to let the Residential Life staff know of your intentions when you sign up for the space in your current hall.

Location: HUB rm 119
