Mental Health Forum: Where speakers share personal and family experiences about living with and recovering from mental illness. October 15th @ 6pm in the Bradford Room

November 2013

Annual NH Suicide Prevention Conference: (scholarships available; please call for more information). November 8th in Bedford NH

Suicide Prevention Forum: Through the insight of personal experiences and discussion of resources, we can learn both how to prevent suicide and how to provide support to those who have lost someone to suicide. November 12th @ 6pm in the Bradford Room

International Survivors of Suicide Day: A day for survivors of suicide loss to gather together in locations around the world to feel a sense of community, to promote healing and to connect with others that have had similar experiences. November 23rd from 12:30pm-3:30pm in Frost Common

December 2013

Beads with Meaning: Come show your true colors as well as your support for suicide prevention. December 3rd @ 10am-2pm in the HUB FPL

SurvivorVoices: A NAMI NH National Best Practice program that teaches those bereaved by suicide how to speak safely and effectively about their loss. December 3rd @ 6:00pm in Frost Common

Trainings Being Offered:

Suicide Prevention/Intervention Train the Trainer: Designated a National Best Practice program, Connect prevention/intervention training incorporates key aspects of the National Suicide Prevention Strategy in a comprehensive training model which promotes an integrated community response to suicide prevention. November 4th, 5th and 6th from 8am-5pm 

Gatekeeper Training: A day-long training designated to increase the competence of campus communities in recognizing individuals at risk for suicide and connecting those at risk to help.  Call to schedule a training
