The S.A.G.E. Center staff facilitates a number of classroom presentations designed to prepare students to be socially responsible community members in an increasingly diverse world.

Classroom and Co-Curricular Presentations:

S.A.G.E. Center 101: Information regarding our programs, events and services. (15-30min)

Sexual Violence 101: A general presentation on sexual violence and harassment, including definitions, dynamics and resources available. (45-60 min)

Domestic/Dating Violence 101: A general presentation on the dynamics of domestic violence, including definitions, warning signs & resources available. (45-60 min)

Sex, Gender and Sexual Identity: An in-depth discussion about how we define sex, gender and sexual identity. You may also request a panel discussion to go along with this presentation. (45-90min)

The Impact of Interpersonal Violence: An in-depth look at the causes of interpersonal violence and the impact it has on our culture. (45-90min)

Sex, Violence and Responsibility: An engaging discussion regarding bystander responsibility as it pertains to sexual violence in our culture. (45-90min)

The Intersections of Racism, Sexism and Homophobia: An examination of how acts of biases, if not addressed, escalates into acts of violence. Participants will be asked to examine their campus climate while discussing the impact bias, prejudice and discrimination can have on both the dominant and non-dominant culture.

Who can schedule a presentation?

The classroom presentations can be booked by a student, faculty or staff member as long as the classroom instructor is aware of the presentation.

How to schedule a presentation?

To schedule a presentation please call the S.A.G.E. Center at 603-535-2387 or email drsmith@plymouth.edu. We encourage you to book your classroom presentation at least two weeks ahead of time in order for us to be able to fullfill the request.
