Safe Zone Training: Module #1
The purpose of the Plymouth State University Safe Zone training program(module #1) is to add to a campus climate that values and supports diversity, equity and inclusiveness. This is an educational program that is designed to raise awareness regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual and ally issues, and prepare faculty, staff and students to take active steps towards reducing harassment, discrimination and violence based upon sexual orientation and gender identity or expression.
Bystander Intervention Workshop: Considerations & Actions for
Engagement:
Making sex safer on campus: What’s your role?” In this workshop you will learn what’s ok & what’s not ok with regard to sex and communication. Learn how to help your friends stay safe. Facilitated by Voices Agaisnt Violence and brought to you by the S.A.G.E. Center and Wellness Center as part of the “I Got Your Back” campaign. Check out this video to find out WHO YOU ARE?
Who can schedule a presentation?
The classroom presentations can be booked by a student, faculty or staff member as long as the classroom instructor is aware of the presentation.
How to schedule a presentation?
To schedule a presentation please call the S.A.G.E. Center at 603-535-2387 or email drsmith@plymouth.edu. We encourage you to book your classroom presentation at least two weeks ahead of time in order for us to be able to fullfill the request.
