Effort Report Certification

Welcome to the PSU Effort Certification Tutorial!

To ensure compliance with the Federal Government Circular OMB A-21 Cost
Principles of Higher Education,
PSU is required by USNH policies to certify
the effort of PSU faculty, staff, and students working on Federally sponsored
projects.

This tutorial reinforces the key concepts, definitions and subtleties embedded
in the process of Effort Certification.

As part of the University’s commitment to compliance, faculty and staff who
expend effort either directly or indirectly on sponsored awards
are required to understand the content of the Effort Certification process.
