Tara Di Salvo, Grant Communications Coordinator
Tara joined the PSU Community in 2007 after 15 years of experience in a variety of business roles from marketing to resort rental management and financial management. She brings strong knowledge of customer relations, finance and technology to the Office of Sponsored Programs.
Tara’s responsibilities include providing initial guidance to faculty on the process of the PSU grant lifecycle, development and oversight of research training modules, training and support for In4Grants and CompetitionSpace, website development and maintenance.
Tara holds a B.S. from Colby-Sawyer College in Business Administration/Management and is currently pursuing her MEd in Human Relations. She has also been a member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) since 2007.

Liane Sutcliffe, Post-Award Management
Liane’s primary responsibility is assisting faculty and staff manage their grant expenditures to ensure compliance with various sponsor regulations. She coordinates sponsor invoicing, financial reporting, payroll, effort certification and general trouble shooting.
Liane works closely with the VPAA, Budget Office and HR to initiate faculty and staff labor distribution between PSU funds and grant awards. She also is a liaison with the Research Advisory Council and Student Research Advisory Council awards to faculty, staff and students on campus.
Liane has been serving PSU in the grants and contracts field of pre and post award for more than 21 years. She is a PSC grad with a B.S. in Elementary Education.
