The Plymouth State University judicial system, as all University related judicial systems, is separate from the legal system. Students may be charged in both forums and sanctioned in both forums. A student may be found responsible in one and not the other or be found responsible in both. Students may also receive sanctions in one and not the other or in both. If a student is processed in both the University judicial system and the legal system for the same violation(s), the processes may occur at the same time or one before the other, as determined by the Coordinator of Student Conduct & Community Standards, Dean of Students, and/or Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs.
